We use external services to support Census 2021.
We use an address index when you enter your postcode into the census questionnaire to search for an address, for example, where you live, stay or work. Our address index was created using Ordnance Survey (OS) (opens in a new tab) data. It is subject to Crown copyright and database rights 2020 OS 100019153. Use of this data is subject to the following conditions by way of exception to the standard Open Government Licence.
Terms and conditions for OS address data
- You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence solely to view the addressing data for non-commercial purposes for the period during which we make it available
- You are not permitted to copy, sub-license, distribute, sell or otherwise make available such data to third parties in any form
- Third-party rights to enforce the terms of this licence shall be reserved to OS
