You can read about GOV.UK Notify’s security features (opens in a new tab)  and GOV.UK Notify’s own terms of use (opens in a new tab) . Our supplier, Serco Limited (opens in a new tab) , runs the contact centre for the public. This includes phone calls, web chat, web form and a text message service. Serco records calls to the contact centre to improve the service for customers. Our Privacy and data protection statement has further details about this. You can also read Serco’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) . Users of web chat will not receive an automatic transcript of their conversation. To request one, please contact us.

We use an address index when you enter your postcode into the census questionnaire to search for an address, for example, where you live, stay or work. You may use the address index for personal use only or non-commercial research.
