Urdd Gobaith Cymru

Urdd Gobaith Cymru says census information has been vital in its work to create an apprenticeship scheme for young Welsh speakers.

Sian Lewis, Chief Executive of Urdd Gobaith Cymru (opens in a new tab) , speaks about how census information has revealed an increase in young people with Welsh language skills.

She explains that the organisation needs the information the census gathers to be able to plan its services. This makes sure Urdd Gobaith Cymru gets its employment programme for young Welsh speakers where it’s most needed.
